Rules

In its capacity as the concessionaire for Lignano Riviera beach management, Società Imprese Lignano – S.I.L. S.p.A. asks you kindly to observe the Harbour Office Ordinance, displayed at each beach office, and the State Maritime Property Management Regulations & Bathing Activities Rules and particularly emphasises the following:

· The public has free access to the beach.

· It may be dangerous to enter the sea when a red or yellow flag is displayed. The red flag indicates danger and/or lack of the rescue service, for this reason bathing is not recommended. S.I.L. S.p.A. shall not be held responsible for anyone who ignores this warning. The yellow flag indicates the presence of strong wind and the beach umbrellas must be closed.

· S.I.L. S.p.A. provides its customers a beach equipment rental service including: use of beach umbrella with two sunbeds (standard equipment), use of beach umbrella with one sunbed and one chair (zona light), sanitary facilities, showers, animation, lifeguard and first aid services.

· At the time of booking, all those who use S.I.L. S.p.A equipment agree that they have read and accept these rules, with no exceptions.

· Guests must show their receipt whenever a S.I.L. S.p.A. inspector asks to check it. The validity of periodical subscriptions and daily tickets are subject to strict compliance on behalf of customers to the conditions set out in this Regulation. It is agreed with express agreement, that the violation of even one of the conditions required in this Regulation, entitles S.I.L. S.p.A. to withdraw from the provision of services, resulting in a loss for the customer of the sums paid for that purpose.

· No booking will be refunded, for any reason whatsoever.

· A maximum total of 4 supplements are allowed under one beach umbrella.

· You are not allowed to take supplements from under other beach umbrellas to your own.

· All persons must behave properly and must not disturb other beach users.

· Guests must use beach furniture with care to avoid damaging it.

· S.I.L. S.p.A reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of rows of beach places. Clients will be moved to another row, doing everything possible to maintain the same position. S.I.L. S.p.A. reserves the right to change a client’s position from the one requested if said repositioning is caused by beach management requirements.

· Guests must use beach furniture with care to avoid damaging it.

· Children are allowed to play with playground equipment only in the presence of their parents or adult guardians. The management declines all responsibility concerning the improper use of the equipment.

· Guests are responsible for the care of their belongings and should not leave any articles under their beach umbrella. The management and staff of S.I.L. S.p.A cannot be held responsible for the theft of unattended belongings.

With regard to bookings for less than a whole season, the following applies:

a) You must call +39 0431 424411 or send an e-mail to spiaggia@sil-lignano.net.
b) Make a down payment equivalent to 30% of the total amount, including taxes, no later than two weeks prior to the booking date.

The down payment must be made via bank transfer to:

Please specify the following in the “reason for payment” field:
– Name and surname;
– Number of the Bagno;
– Number of the beach umbrella.

c) Please settle the account within three days of arrival.
d) Clients who request an extension of less than six days will not be entitled to a discount.
Discounts (as per the price list) will be applied for periods greater than six days.
e) No weekend bookings (including public holidays) shall be accepted unless the entire amount due is paid in advance.

In the event you book for a whole season we advise you to do the following:

a) Fill out a request form (available at the beach offices from the date the bagni open).
b) Pay the down payment (equivalent to 30% of the total amount, including taxes) no later than 17 September, otherwise the beach umbrella will without fail be considered available for other bookings.
